Engineer II
Key Responsibilities
- Independently troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and spa systems
- Perform advanced diagnostics and system repairs
- Lead preventive maintenance programs and ensure compliance documentation is maintained
- Oversee daily hot tub chemical testing and regulatory compliance (where applicable)
- Monitor and prioritize maintenance requests
- Delegate tasks to Engineer I team members as appropriate
- Assist with training and skill development of junior engineers
- Assist with emergency response and after-hours repairs
- Cook up and manage vendor and compliance management
- Coordinate and oversee third-party vendors and service contractors
- Ensure compliance with town codes, fire safety regulations, and brand standards
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
- Support budgeting and cost control efforts
Who You Are
- 4-7+ years hotel, resort, or commercial maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex issues
- Experience working with vendors and contractors
- Strong documentation and computer skills
- Ability to mentor and guide others
