Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee manufacturing processes to maintain and improve product and process quality.
- Lead problem solving activities for complex issues that involve the process and associated equipment.
- Utilize Structured Problem Solving (SPS) and Process Control System (PCS) methodologies, to resolve complex issues and reduce process variation.
- Deploy expertise in Lean Six Sigma and process improvement methodologies, through application in an extensive scope of projects.
- Use team-based approach to gather input from teammates or senior-level colleagues.
- Perform detail-oriented analysis utilizing high math and effective communication skills.
- Provide recommendations to teammates.
- Demonstrate ability to execute on larger strategic projects; equipment/process qualifications, systems/process integration, and multi-site initiatives.
- Aid in technology transfers to meet production requirements.
- Documentation, training, and guiding plant engineering and manufacturing team members.
- Develop and implement best practices.
- Design, install, maintain, analyze, and improve various types of equipment, including electronic and mechanical equipment, to improve efficiency and utilization of resources.
- Participate in long/short range equipment planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
Requirements
- Must have more than 3 years manufacturing engineering experience, with supporting production processes and process improvements.
- Experience in Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
- Prior experience with project management also a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related engineering discipline.
Skills
- Software knowledge: MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SolidWorks are required.
- InfinityQS, Minitab, or CMM programming are a plus.
Benefits
Annual Salary: USD 92,000.00 - USD 121,440.00
Actual compensation is commensurate with experience, skills and education.
