Responsibilities
- Aid in performing calculations, modifications, and designs.
- Assist with evaluating conditions and developing design changes to improve plant performance, safety, and reliability.
Qualifications
- BS in mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles for application in solving problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Effective time management skills.
- Ability to understand and comply with company policies, procedures, and processes.
- Ability to pass security and drug screening and maintain unescorted nuclear plant access.
- Ability to perform walk downs of equipment in an industrial plant environment, to include climbing ladders, accessing security-controlled areas, and entering confined spaces and controlled hazardous areas.
