Engineer I Mechanical- Nuclear

Responsibilities

• Aid in performing calculations, modifications, and designs.
• Assist with evaluating conditions and developing design changes to improve plant performance, safety, and reliability.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles for application in solving problems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Effective time management skills.
• Ability to understand and comply with company policies, procedures, and processes.
• Ability to pass security and drug screening and maintain unescorted nuclear plant access.
• Ability to perform walk downs of equipment in an industrial plant environment, to include climbing ladders, accessing security-controlled areas, and entering confined spaces and controlled hazardous areas.
