Responsibilities

  • Providing engineering oversight and support to MTC and MDA personnel for the inspection, calibration and repair of both nuclear and non-nuclear shipboard components as well as shipyard test equipment.
  • Maintaining the laboratories standards and supporting equipment.
  • Developing and documenting manual and automated calibration procedures.
  • Assuming overall responsibility for department quality by performing quality assurance audits and instituting processes to eliminate recurring errors.
  • Interfacing with shipyard and other organizations to develop methods and problem resolutions.
  • Complying with relevant health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering in Electrical, Mechanical, or Physics
  • 1-5 years of post graduate engineering experience

Preferred Requirements

  • 2+ years of engineering experience
  • Laboratory/testing experience
  • Metrology Experience
