Responsibilities
- Providing engineering oversight and support to MTC and MDA personnel for the inspection, calibration and repair of both nuclear and non-nuclear shipboard components as well as shipyard test equipment.
- Maintaining the laboratories standards and supporting equipment.
- Developing and documenting manual and automated calibration procedures.
- Assuming overall responsibility for department quality by performing quality assurance audits and instituting processes to eliminate recurring errors.
- Interfacing with shipyard and other organizations to develop methods and problem resolutions.
- Complying with relevant health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering in Electrical, Mechanical, or Physics
- 1-5 years of post graduate engineering experience
Preferred Requirements
- 2+ years of engineering experience
- Laboratory/testing experience
- Metrology Experience
