About the role

As an entry-level engineer, you will support our engineering teams working on inspiring, demanding, and highly collaborative designs. You will learn from others while contributing your own insights, sharing in the responsibility, rewards, and recognition of producing truly innovative solutions and complete client satisfaction.

You will join our Information Communication Technology (ICT) Group, gaining exposure to network connectivity, LAN, WAN fundamentals, Wi-Fi infrastructure, WAPs, controllers, and other ICT trades.

Responsibilities

  • Enroll in the firmwide Engineer Development Training (EDT) program.
  • Attend continuing education seminars on technical or professional-enhancing topics.
  • Conduct field inspections to determine existing conditions and coordinate new work.
  • Assist senior team members in preparing due diligence, feasibility, gap analysis, and other technical reports and drawings.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines and work closely with the entire design team.
  • Create basic designs under the direction of senior team members, performing CAD/BIM drafting, equipment selections, and systems calculations for various projects.
  • Begin cross-training in multidisciplinary designs and support design production of drawings, calculations, research, reports, analysis, and specifications.
  • Learn and master drawing organization and company standards.
  • Support the design and engineering of systems for new installations, retrofits, replacements, and upgrades across a wide variety of project types.
  • Take ownership of the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of work assignments.
  • Develop a basic understanding of network connectivity, LAN, WAN fundamentals, Wi-Fi infrastructure, WAPs, and controllers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (graduation date: Winter 2025, Spring or Summer 2026).
  • Previous engineering internship is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the latest version of MEP AutoCAD; REVIT experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite.
  • Enjoys a team environment but is flexible enough to work independently when needed.
  • Eager to learn and expand knowledge through challenging experiences and technical resources.

About the EDT Program

Recent graduates in our Engineering Development Training (EDT) program participate in an accelerated, thorough training curriculum covering both technical and industry-specific business aspects. Senior engineers mentor participants to foster strong apprentice relationships, ensuring development and education through hands-on training.

Pay

California Pay range: $64,845 USD - $97,733 USD.
