Engineer I

The Engineer I is responsible for responding to all guest requests in a timely and efficient manner and assisting in department needs as directed.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all guest's requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in department needs as directed.
• Perform duties of a groundskeeper, handling and double‑checking guest requests in a courteous, efficient, and safe manner.
• Complete work order request forms on a daily and timely basis.
• Perform duties of a helper or as assigned.
• Report any unsafe conditions to the Director of Engineering.

Skills and Ability

• Basic knowledge of building mechanical systems and controls, energy management, and building maintenance.
• May require ability to drive a pick‑up truck and operate snow removal equipment.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities are required.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma required.
• Six months experience in a related field preferred.
