Qualifications

• Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and/or experience
• Engineering Grades & Minimum Quals:
  • Gen.14 - Engineering Designer A (055ED): Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or currently in school with the ability to obtain degree within six (6) months as a condition of continued employment.
  • Gen.15 - Engineering Designer AA (054ED): Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and two (2) years of professional civil engineering experience and possession of an Engineering - In - Training Certificate (EIT); or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions.
  • E.17 – Design Engineer (052DE): Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and four (4) years' experience in civil engineering design with emphasis in an engineering field appropriate to work assignment with at least two (2) of those years in a supervisory/lead capacity; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions.
  • E.18 – Design Engineer Sr. (051DE): Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and seven (7) years of progressively more responsible experience which was primarily involved in general civil engineering with at least four (4) of those years in a supervisory capacity; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions.
• Experience with AutoCAD, TerraModel software, and GIS preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and two (2) years’ professional traffic engineering experience; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions.
• Must possess a certification as an Engineer-In-Training (EIT).
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license as a condition of continued employment.

Pay

Salary range: $60,029.58 - $92,456.00

Schedule

Pay period: $2,308.83 - $3,556.00
