About the role
This position is responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of all machinery and equipment required to supply the hospital complex with various utilities and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and ensure all HVAC equipment is in good working order.
- Ensure the physical plant and mechanical rooms are in a safe working environment.
- Monitor and control boilers and chillers for heating and air conditioning.
- Ensure generators supplying electrical power to machinery and auxiliary equipment are in good condition.
- Notify and assist the Chief or Senior Engineer with equipment shut downs, repairs, and major maintenance.
- Complete or close out Preventive Maintenance Program work orders assigned by the end of the shift.
- Perform minor or major repairs on all facility-related equipment.
- Respond to all trouble calls and maintenance requests for the hospital or facility.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- First Class Stationary Unlimited License preferred, but Stationary Limited license is required.
- 1-3 years minimum experience in similar roles.
Pay
The position offers a SIGN-ON BONUS UP TO $15,000!
