Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update existing plant layouts.
  • Design future layout improvements based on Manufacturing requirements.
  • Manage various projects including:
    • Infrastructure system improvements
    • Building demolitions
    • Manufacturing cell relocations
    • Future expansion site planning
    • Installation/relocation of machines
    • Coinciding with various contractors performing work on site, and communicating project goals and expectations.
  • Coordinate inspections and preventative maintenance of building life-safety systems and other various equipment.
  • Oversee handling and disposal of chemicals and waste, both hazardous and non-hazardous.
  • Aid in EPA audits and internal record keeping, ensuring company compliance.
  • Work closely with executive leadership and other functional groups to maintain schedule and budget.
  • Utilize MS Office tools to present and track project status.
  • Perform other technical, physical, and administrative duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Systems Engineering.
  • An in-depth understanding of building infrastructure systems (electrical, mechanical, and plumbing).
  • Proficient with CAD and drafting software such as AutoCAD; experience with Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Siemens NX is a plus.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret building drawings and machine specifications at an advanced level.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior construction or manufacturing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building code, OSHA, and safety standards.
  • Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations (EPA, RCRA, DOT, and UDEQ).
  • PMP or other project management certification.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • The position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
