About the role
As an Engineer, Data Engineering & Intelligence, you will support the design, development, and maintenance of business intelligence capabilities with a focus on dbt, SQL, and Python to create ETL pipelines. You will apply knowledge of data structures and pipelines to contribute to data-driven decision-making, help shape and redesign data architecture, and drive insights that impact business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, develop, and document data pipeline architecture to support reporting tools.
- Support the creation of automated reporting backends with high levels of efficiency and accuracy in BigQuery.
- Maintain functional expertise of client data, its nature, and documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members to understand data needs and develop meaningful solutions.
- Contribute to the automation of data quality assurance and data processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Detail-oriented while keeping sight of the bigger picture.
- Highly proficient in SQL and Python.
- Prior experience in Google Cloud services such as BigQuery, GCS, Cloud SQL, ML, or similar cloud services.
- Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.
- Experience analyzing data to identify issues and inconsistencies.
- Passionate about data and understanding consumer behavior.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with version control software (Git), leveraging LLMs, and writing technical documentation.
- Proficiency with dbt is a strong plus.
- Ability to independently acquire new skills and master new tools.

Pay
Compensation range: USD $55,765.00 - USD $85,878.00/Annually. This range reflects the Company’s belief at the time of posting and may be adjusted based on skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant, along with the requirements of the position.
