Engineer- Construction

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience with the design and install of equipment used in transmitting broadband data over in-building networks
• Hands-on experience with coax, twisted pair copper or fiber optic cabling and complex networks as well as switching equipment
• Experience with coordinating installation of new in-building networks or equipment
• Ability to evaluate multi-tenant (residence and business) buildings to determine compatibility with different networks and systems
• Experience with managing large build projects involving broadband services, and ensuring timely planning and implementation
• Ability to produce technical as-built documentation
• Provide general ad-hoc operational support for local field engineering and sales teams
• Manage construction activities related to the development of multiple, simultaneous Network infrastructure projects
• Provide financial management of projects from initial proposal/bid through receipt of final product or service including daily activities such as schedule and financial management as well as interfacing with vendors via calls and meetings

Requirements

• Attention to detail, sense of urgency and wireless network (cell site) construction experience as well as technical aptitude with computers to navigate tools
• Must have a vehicle capable of transporting tools and equipment
• Hands-on experience working off of ladders (step/extension/folding)
• Hands-on experience with drilling in multiple dwelling/commercial buildings
• Frontline experience with working with customers/clients

Desired Skills

• Knowledge & experience with Google Suite and other computer and mobility based applications
• A four-year college degree or equivalent field experience
• Experience with working on multiple dwelling/commercial building rooftops (flat and/or pitched)

Pay

Payrate: $58.00 - $61.64/hr.
