Essential Job Duties
- Operate boilers, chillers, HVAC fans, UPS systems, electrical high voltage systems, and emergency power.
- Train all inexperienced mechanical technicians to run all mechanical and electrical systems.
- Provide direction on repairs as needed for boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, electrical secondary (non-critical), plumbing systems, and general building maintenance.
- Maintain all conditions to comply with OSHA and other safety and health guidelines.
- Ensure complete compliance with all applicable municipal, state, and federal codes and regulations.
- Implement corrective actions to prevent further occurrences of incidents, accidents, and injuries.
- Communicate log book entries, work orders, and PM work.
- Develop and implement business controls for operations and maintenance areas.
- Manage communications with suppliers and outside mechanical contractors.
- Collect, analyze, and report statistical data as required.
- Assess tenant needs and implement ongoing programs to solve problems promptly.
- Handle multiple projects and make decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8-10 years’ experience as Engineer in 250 KSF or greater Class A buildings.
- Excellent communication skills, positive approach to job, and ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Proficient computer and e-mail skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions.

Education & Experience
