  • Conduct project site visits to assess constructability, access, and engineering risks.
  • Support critical lifts, structural steel erection, machinery installations, and specialty construction activities.
  • Serve as Engineer of Record for engineered lifting and structural support activities when required.
  • Partner with Operations, Project Management, Estimating, and Safety to develop practical engineering solutions.
  • Establish engineering standards, calculation procedures, and technical best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continued growth of the Engineering & Technical Services function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Florida PE license or ability to obtain through reciprocity. Preference of holding FL & GA licenses.
  • Experience supporting structural, industrial, construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, or engineering consulting projects.

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, RAM, RISA, TEDDS, Bluebeam, or similar engineering software.
  • Ability to work in both office and active construction environments.
  • Ability to travel periodically throughout the Southeast.
  • Experience in crane and rigging engineering is preferred but not required. We welcome experienced structural engineers looking to apply their expertise in a unique construction environment.

Benefits

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Paid Time Off, and Paid Holidays.
