Responsibilities

• Maintain project schedules and budgets
• Create project specific engineering submittals and drawings
• Review and understand Sales Department worksheets and project requirements
• Coverage or execute the purchase of project specific equipment
• Cookorate with other Quinn departments as necessary for successful project completion
• Coordinate with Factory and outside vendor personnel on technical issues
• Delegation and hiring of Quinn Service Dept. or third party vendors for installation, modification, and fabrication requirements
• Communicate with Factory and outside vendor personnel on technical issues
• Timely completion of project closeout documentation
• Provide pre-sale technical support to the sales department
• Utilize company project management system on all projects
• Some fieldwork, as required, for specific project requirements
• Develop and maintain good relationships with customers and suppliers

Qualifications

• Successfully completed high school or GED equivalent as a minimum
• College degree, engineering background or previous engineering experience
• Technical knowledge of engines, generator sets, and electronics is a plus
• Must have well-developed communications skills (verbal and written)
• Must have a valid California Drivers License in good standing
• Basic computer skills
• AutoCAD experience is required
• Must be well organized and self-motivated
• Able to work full time in a Quinn Power Systems office setting
• This is not a remote working position
• Able to travel safely to sales project sites to meet and discuss project needs with key project team members
• Able to follow Quinn Company safety guidelines and policies
• Must be reliable and dependable
