Engineer
Responsibilities
- Perform 2D and 3D designs in Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor
- Collaborate with others (managers, designers, field techs, customer, drafters, administration)
- Develop designs, including specification and calculations to document compliance with project and code requirements
- Performs a variety of engineering calculations, for foundations, reinforce concrete structure and components, structural steel frames and other similar concrete and steel structural components and systems
- Generates fully compliant civil/structural drawing for layouts, building sections/plans/details, foundation details, steelwork details and architectural feature design
- Aid in the preparation and approval of design documents and plant modifications, including supervision of engineers and designers in document development
- Provides technical expertise and guidance to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs to identify and resolve equipment and system problems
- All other duties as assigned by a supervisor/manager
Qualifications
- Mechanical or Civil Engineer
- Capable of managing multiple projects at once with tight deadlines
- Comfortable visiting clients’ facilities and performing physical work such as walking, stooping, kneeling and climbing stairs/ladders
- Proficient in Structural Design (Conveyors, structural towers and foundation work are a plus)
- Drafting of infrastructure, based of field measurements, or provided drawings, while meeting time and budget constraints
