What You Will Contribute To OHM Advisors
In a Municipal Engineer role at OHM Advisors, you will:
- Prepare and manage scope, schedule, and budget for proposals and contracts.
- Coach and manage staff development, sub-consultants, and expenses during project implementation.
- Effectively communicate project goals, alternatives, recommendations, and outcomes to the project team, client, and public (memos, reports, presentations, etc.).
- Anticipate project issues, including advising the client on alternatives and providing recommendations for solving issues.
- Timely and accurate completion of OHM and sub-consultant invoices and collections.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Experience: 5 years' experience with maintenance of traffic design, traffic control and utility coordination.
- Experience: Experience involving municipal streets and utilities and/or roadway/highway design.
- Technical Skills: Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
- Technical Skills: Experience with MDOT ProjectWise and design criteria and manuals.

Qualifications
We are looking for a Municipal Engineer who:
- Has a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Has 5 years of experience with maintenance of traffic design, traffic control and utility coordination.
- Has experience involving municipal streets and utilities and/or roadway/highway design.
- Is proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
- Is familiar with MDOT ProjectWise and design criteria and manuals.
Skills
- The desire and ability to maintain strong client relationships.
- The desire and ability to train junior engineers and interns.
- Good organizational skills and enjoy working in a team environment.
