Engineer

About the Role

Maxime’s is a private member’s club on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, New York City. The Facilities/Maintenance Worker reports to the Engineering Manager and assists in performing routine maintenance and repair tasks to keep the club’s facilities, art exhibits, and equipment operational.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks across the club’s facilities, art exhibits, and equipment.
• Deliver exceptional experiences daily as part of an established hospitality team.
• Carry out general, preventive, and emergency maintenance as needed.
• Stand, walk, and occasionally lift items as part of normal restaurant operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in maintenance within a hospitality environment or luxury hotel settings.
• Versatile skill set in general maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, and basic repairs.
• Ability to adapt skills to the club’s unique needs.
• Polished personal presentation that meets company standards.
• Professional, upbeat demeanor with a collaborative, team‑oriented approach.
• Willingness to work a variable schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
