About the role
The role is located at HC Administration 99-1300 Halawa Valley Street Aiea, HI 96701, USA.
Responsibilities
- Set a positive safety example and drive local safety initiatives.
- Understand and manage the infrastructure and utilities of properties and fixed facilities.
- Create and maintain reserve inventory and report reserves annually for SEC 10(k) reporting.
- Develop and prepare preliminary and detailed design drawings and reports using engineering software.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot field issues in the Company’s Divisions.
- Assist in capital investment projects and site development design.
- Support sales, operations, and continuous improvements in manufacturing and processing plants.
- Resolve engineering-related issues with stakeholders.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and solve various engineering and construction-related issues.
- Develop and assist in securing permit/lease applications for mining and other facilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
- Five or more years of proven experience in the construction materials industry.
- Experience with technical software such as AutoCAD 2018 or higher, GIS, and other math-based systems.
- Must be able to read and interpret sketches and construction plans.
- Proficient with MS Office suite of products and industry-related computer software.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Innate continuous improvement mindset, process methodology skills, and impressive change management capability.
- Valid Driver License in good standing.
Preferred Requirements
- Seven to ten years of working in the construction materials industry with progressive and proven experience.
- Advanced working knowledge of mining and processing construction materials such as cement, aggregates, and ready-mix concrete.
- Engineering certifications or credentials.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
