Engineer

Duties

• Network Design: Designing gas distribution systems, pipelines, and related infrastructure to meet capacity and safety requirements
• Capacity Assessment: Analyzing current and future gas demand to ensure that network can deliver gas without interruptions or bottlenecks
• Safety Compliance: Ensuring that all gas systems meet regulatory safety standards and coordinating with relevant authorities for compliance
• Optimization: Identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of gas distribution networks
• Environmental Impact: Assessing the environmental impact of gas systems and recommending measures to reduce carbon footprint
• Simulation and Modeling: Utilizing Synergi to predict the behavior of gas systems under different conditions
• Risk Assessment: Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them, including emergency response plans
• Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, design, sales, gas supply, and engineering to ensure the safe operations of gas systems

Qualifications

• Exceptional skills in Microsoft or applicable software, engineering formulas, databases, and related calculations
• Strong planning, writing, organizational, project and data management skills
• Skilled analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Effective team leader skills, including written/verbal communications, and interpersonal relationships
