Responsibilities
- Plan and design manufacturing processes to improve the fabrication of new and existing Axillon Aerospace products.
- Determines the parts, equipment, and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications.
- Maintain labor standards, safety initiatives, facility layout, capacity analysis, and process simulation.
- Contribute to the completion of organizational projects and goals.
- Participate in the introduction of new products to the manufacturing and supply chain environment.
- Transfer new products into production from a “design for manufacturability” approach.
- Assist in process improvement projects aligned with business strategies.
- Analyze production processes and output quality to improve efficiency in production yields and throughput.
- Maximize efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.
- Support capital equipment studies and proposal activity.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Knowledge and ability to apply core concepts of engineering.
- Ability to apply a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem solving.
- Knowledge of CAD software, SolidWorks and/or CATIA, is a plus.
- Ability to use existing procedures to solve problems.
- Ability to research and analyze data effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers.
Qualifications

$80,000 - $120,000 annually based on experience.
