Responsibilities

• Plan and design manufacturing processes to improve the fabrication of new and existing Axillon Aerospace products.
• Determines the parts, equipment, and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications.
• Maintain labor standards, safety initiatives, facility layout, capacity analysis, and process simulation.
• Contribute to the completion of organizational projects and goals.
• Participate in the introduction of new products to the manufacturing and supply chain environment.
• Transfer new products into production from a “design for manufacturability” approach.
• Assist in process improvement projects aligned with business strategies.
• Analyze production processes and output quality to improve efficiency in production yields and throughput.
• Maximize efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.
• Support capital equipment studies and proposal activity.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Knowledge and ability to apply core concepts of engineering.
• Ability to apply a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem solving.
• Knowledge of CAD software, SolidWorks and/or CATIA, is a plus.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve problems.
• Ability to research and analyze data effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers.

$80,000 - $120,000 annually based on experience.
