Responsibilities

• Perform design calculations and bid documents including specifications and drawings
• Prepare state, federal, and local permit applications
• Conduct fieldwork such as surveying, GPS data collection, infrastructure inspections, water sampling, and construction observation
• Contribute to reports describing project objectives, methods, results, and conclusions
• Use technical software to support wastewater or drinking water projects
• Use AutoCAD to support planning and design
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff
• Provide on-the-job training and mentoring for interns

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field
• EIT certification preferred, must obtain within the first year of employment
• Experience with AutoCAD is required
• GIS experience is a plus
• Relevant co-op or internship experience is a strong plus
• Excellent technical writing skills
• Proficient in MS Office software
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Qualifications

• Early-Career Civil/Environmental Engineer position available
• Projects include water distribution, pumping, and treatment systems and/or wastewater collection, pumping, and treatment
• Positions can be based in Quincy, MA; Woburn, MA; Providence, RI, or Glastonbury, CT

Pay

$70,000 USD - $88,000 USD annually
