Responsibilities
- Perform design calculations and bid documents including specifications and drawings
- Prepare state, federal, and local permit applications
- Conduct fieldwork such as surveying, GPS data collection, infrastructure inspections, water sampling, and construction observation
- Contribute to reports describing project objectives, methods, results, and conclusions
- Use technical software to support wastewater or drinking water projects
- Use AutoCAD to support planning and design
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff
- Provide on-the-job training and mentoring for interns
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field
- EIT certification preferred, must obtain within the first year of employment
- Experience with AutoCAD is required
- GIS experience is a plus
- Relevant co-op or internship experience is a strong plus
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Proficient in MS Office software
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Qualifications
- Early-Career Civil/Environmental Engineer position available
- Projects include water distribution, pumping, and treatment systems and/or wastewater collection, pumping, and treatment
- Positions can be based in Quincy, MA; Woburn, MA; Providence, RI, or Glastonbury, CT

Pay
$70,000 USD - $88,000 USD annually
