Job Summary
As the NPI Team Leader for the Engine Systems division within the Advanced Power Technology (APT) organization, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams in the execution of Engine System solutions for Power & Energy applications from program launch through start of production. You will utilize and champion program management tools and processes including the NPI Management tool, PMO project planning, communication matrices, etc. to ensure effective, efficient program execution. You will be accountable for meeting Time, Cost and Quality commitments to Power & Energy clients in alignment with program enterprise goals. You will be the main point of contact and manage the relationship between APT and the Power & Energy clients. You will develop, lead and facilitate regularly scheduled governance meetings with Power & Energy stakeholders ensuring Advanced Power Technology meets or exceeds expectations with respect to Time, Cost and Quality. You will develop and champion R&D efficiency efforts utilizing AI where applicable.
What You Will Do
- Utilize the NPI process to lead cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain and production support to execute Engine System solutions for Power & Energy applications from program launch through start of production.
- Utilize and champion program management tools and processes including the NPI Management tool, PMO project planning, communication matrices, etc. to ensure effective, efficient program execution.
- Accountable for meeting Time, Cost and Quality commitments to Power & Energy clients in alignment with program enterprise goals.
- Main point of contact and manage the relationship between APT and the Power & Energy clients.
- Lead and manage funding from Power & Energy clients throughout the yearly budget cycling including initial Annual Business Planning (ABP) and all following RBM cycles.
- Develop, lead and facilitate regularly scheduled governance meetings with Power & Energy stakeholders ensuring Advanced Power Technology meets or exceeds expectations with respect to Time, Cost and Quality.
- Develop and champion R&D efficiency efforts utilizing AI where applicable.
What You Will Have
- Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Extensive knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
- Effective Communications: Expert understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Problem Solving: Extensive knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
- Program Management: Extensive knowledge of the policies and techniques to manage a set of related projects within a program; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control the set of projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve program objectives.
Qualifications
- Degree Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field.

Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Range: $147,760.00 - $221,640.00
- Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
