About the role

We are looking for a talented Engine Workshop Technician - Level II to join our team specializing in Service for our Service Operations Department in Khouribga, OCP Beni Amir Mining Site.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to reliable engine performance by completing maintenance, basic repairs, rebuilds, and upfits according to established standards.
  • Support equipment longevity by performing preventative maintenance based on thorough assessments.
  • Enhance team capability by assisting more experienced technicians with diagnostics and repair plan development.
  • Maintain strong operational records by completing all required documentation—including work orders, time sheets, and warranty submissions—accurately and on time.
  • Promote a safe and organized work environment by keeping tools and work areas clean, functional, and compliant with Health, Safety & Environmental requirements.
  • Grow technical expertise by completing required training and applying new skills to daily workshop activities.

Requirements

  • Education/Experience:
    • Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
    • Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
  • Local Valid Driving Permit (Preferred)
  • Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
  • Relevant experience in HHP engine rebuilds

Qualifications

  • Strong diagnostics capability: Translate customer concerns into a clear troubleshooting plan; use guided workflows, mechanical/electronic tools, and diagnostic software to isolate faults; validate repairs by duplicating the complaint and document findings accurately in business systems.
  • Proficiency with electronic service tools: Select and operate the correct hardware/software toolsets for each service event; interpret electronic outputs and recommendations to determine precise next steps.
  • Systems-thinking for engine interactions: Understand how mechanical and electrical subsystems (exhaust, cooling, fuel, aftertreatment, controls, sensors, driveline, etc.) interact; apply measurements, OEM/service publications, and tools to efficiently diagnose and repair.
  • Quality-focused repair and documentation discipline: Perform repairs and preventative maintenance within standard times and guidelines; execute clean disassembly/reassembly practices, follow re-use and progressive damage checks to control total cost of ownership; maintain complete, timely service documentation and escalate complex issues with clear, traceable troubleshooting records.
