About the role
Writes, edits and prepares internal company publications and communications. Selects, writes, and reviews editorials and special articles. Develops, recommends, and maintains editorial policy. Interviews to obtain items for publication and to verify facts; assigns or approves artwork; and approves final proofs and page layouts, and websites. May coordinate production and distribution activities.

Requirements
- Must have 6 years with Bachelor's Degree in related field; 4 years of relevant professional experience with a Master's Degree (combination of experience and education in lieu of degree).
Nice to Have
- Experience planning, executing and managing special events;
- Experience coordinating logistics and vendors;
- Experience working in a corporate environment that requires multi-tasking, flexibility and the ability to work in a high pressure setting;
- Experience working with military personnel and an understanding of hierarchy and protocol;
- Extreme attention to detail and a "no task to small or unimportant" attitude;
- Ability to work with various audiences and in various work environments, including highly formal corporate areas, areas inside the shipyard and in outdoor sites.
