Engagement Programming Coord

About the role

Provides support for the Engagement and Stewardship team through the coordination of fund raising projects, events and recognition. Carries out communications projects intended for multiple audiences: prospects, donors, patient families, event attendees and Children's Hospital staff. Greets guests to the Foundation office and maintains a polished, well-equipped office environment for the Foundation team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 2+ years of related experience preferred
• Experience working in a nonprofit organization, in a communications role and/or as a project manager preferred
• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality when handling donor information
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet daily demands, as well as, respond to urgent situations
• Ability to communicate, edit and proofread correspondence, and perform calculations at a level normally acquired through completion of high school, plus additional training in word processing and/or secretarial science
• Advanced skills in word processing, spreadsheets and email marketing programs required and general database experience desired
• Excellent interpersonal, prioritization and organization skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees, board members, patient families, volunteers, etc.
• Process-oriented, ability to work efficiently and with accuracy
