Engagement Manager, WWPS ProServe
About the role
The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Engagement Manager (EM) to lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects for our clients.
Responsibilities
Leading and managing complex cloud migration and implementation projects
Leveraging comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning
Bridging business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes
Distingushing customer needs into clear technical requirements and mapping them to business outcomes
Decomposing complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions
Contributing to technical documentation and defining documentation standards
Requirements
5+ years of leading the delivery of IT projects with external customers or equivalent experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
3+ years of cloud computing experience
Experience with Agile and project management toolsets like Jira, Rally, VersionOne or Taiga
Current US Citizen and currently possess/ maintain an active Top Secret security clearance
Qualifications
Project management certification (e.g., APM, CSM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2)
AWS certification
Knowledge of the value proposition of the public cloud and cloud engagement delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent
Experience in project management or management consulting including handling multiple ongoing projects
Knowledge of government contracting laws, rules and regulations including, but not limited to, commercial items contracting requirements, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR)
Skills
Possessing strong technology and program/project management experience, you will validate technical solutions against business goals, recognize when additional technical evaluation is needed, and manage technical risks.

Pay
Base salary range: $131,200.00 - $177,600.00 USD annually
