About the role
Baker Tilly is seeking an Engagement Lead – Tekion / DMS Implementation to join their Digital Consulting team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys transforming businesses through technology and is passionate about leading change.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team through the definition and delivery of transformation projects, focusing on the auto dealership industry and Tekion DMS implementation.
- Identify and develop complementary value-added services for automotive dealerships, including process improvement initiatives and broader digital transformation opportunities.
- Develop, manage, and measure the effectiveness of project approaches and plans aligned with critical phases of implementation and long-term roadmaps.
- Manage and implement project plans through delegation, coordination, communication, and organization, including staffing resources, deadlines, and end user expectations.
- Ensure proper documentation of projects, including business cases, business requirements, and implementation plans, meeting document requirements for project managers and business owners.
- Manage third-party vendor relationships to address specific development needs.
- Act as the liaison between executive committees, stakeholders, and development teams, identifying and mitigating project risks and issues.
- Support the development of the Enterprise Transformation practice, from go-to-market activities to delivery methodology standards and team development.
- Utilize functional expertise based on specific skills and background, and apply entrepreneurial skills to build strong relationships internally and externally.
- Invest in professional development through participation in firm-wide learning and development programs.
- Support the growth and development of team members and clients through the Baker Tilly Value Architect model.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of related experience, including three (3) years of auto dealership industry experience; consulting experience highly preferred.
- Three (3) years’ experience with auto dealership processes, terminology, and workflows (sales, service, parts, accounting).
- Experience leading teams in the implementation of Tekion DMS; Tekion Certified Professional (TCP) qualification highly preferred.
- Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, see the "big picture," and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Project experience with full lifecycle application development, including requirements gathering, use case development, system analysis and design, integration, testing, deployment.
- Experience with Agile software delivery management tools and techniques (Scrum, JIRA, confluence) is a plus.
- Project/program management certification (e.g. PMP, PgMP) and/or Agile certification (e.g. PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM, SAFe POPM) is a plus.
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 100%) and work outside of core business hours for client engagements.

Pay
The compensation range for this role is $137,600 - $206,380. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
