Engagement Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities
- Monitor work in process on engagements and prepare and issue client invoices in a timely manner.
- Stay apprised of client contracts and their impact on invoicing and working capital management.
- Perform time and expense fee adjustments, write-offs, transfers, and apply advances and retainers.
- Communicate issues and concerns to management and engagement teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and cash collection.
- Exercise judgment in handling unique and urgent situations.
- Demonstrate positive people attributes and contribute to a cohesive team environment.
- Communicate proactively with colleagues and advance the efficiency and effectiveness of the order to cash value stream.
- Achieve improvements to working capital management processes and adopt enhancements to tools and methods, including AI capabilities.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Relevant accounting/finance experience preferred, ideally in a consulting or professional services firm.
A flexible and responsive work style; ability to perform well under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines with poise and professionalism.
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English from both a business and technical perspective with the ability to present to stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent team skills and customer service attitude. High attention to detail with proven organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; willingness to learn new systems and tools.
Comfortable leveraging firm-approved AI tools and technology to support day-to-day work efficiencies, streamline tasks, and enhance productivity.
Qualifications
Core working hours are generally 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday; willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours as business needs arise.
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States. No visa or immigration sponsorship for this role, now or in the future.
Skills
Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.
