About the role

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) Enforcement Division is seeking an experienced and motivated Enforcement Analyst II to join the Administration Section, which supports approximately 200 division staff. The section handles overall division administrative functions, including personnel, budgets, accounting, contracts, equipment, space planning, Enforcement Standard Process, and other key operations.

Under the direction of a Supervisor I, the incumbent will perform complex technical analytical assignments and tasks, serving as direct support to the Enforcement Settlement Agreement Coordinator and leading the division’s Health and Safety coordination efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform responsible, varied, and complex technical analytical assignments supporting division administrative functions.
  • Serve as direct support to the Enforcement Settlement Agreement Coordinator.
  • Lead the division’s Health and Safety coordination efforts, establishing and implementing a new program.
  • Proofread and format memos, briefing documents, and other official materials.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of administrative processes and programs.

Requirements

  • Experience performing complex analytical assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience proofreading and formatting memos, briefing documents, and other official materials.
  • Ability to establish and lead new programs, such as the division’s Health and Safety coordination efforts.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders.

Pay

$6,031.00 - $7,547.00 per month. New to State candidates will be hired at the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.
