Energy Station Service Specialist
Job Summary
CPI is seeking a dedicated Energy Station Service Specialist to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, good work attendance, and be open to challenges and learning new things. They should also have a safety mindset, exceptional customer service skills, and a basic understanding of vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance.
About the Role
The Energy Station Service Specialist will perform inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment, provide tire services, and assist with general maintenance tasks. They will also handle forklift certifications and propane cylinder handling as needed. Duties include recording sales transactions, receiving payments, greeting customers, stocking shelves, performing housekeeping, and aiding with accounting functions.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment
- Provide tire services and general maintenance tasks
- Handle forklift certifications and propane cylinder handling as needed
- Record sales transactions, receive payments, and assist customers
- Stock shelves, displays, and service items
- Perform housekeeping duties both inside and outside the facility
- Aid the Energy Division with accounting functions, including monthly inventories and other reports
Requirements
- High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or related experience and/or training
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to sit, stand, stoop, crawl, climb, crouch, balance, kneel, walk, and work on a cash register for a prolonged period of time
- Comfortable working around and being exposed to moving parts, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals
- Effective written and verbal communication with a customer service focus
- Proficient in data entry
- Strong business acumen including time management, planning, organization, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Efficient problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to changing situations
