Handshake is seeking experienced professionals in the energy sector to contribute to AI research through flexible, hourly contract work. This role does not follow a traditional employment model. You will leverage your practical experience in areas like oil and gas, power generation, utilities, renewables, or energy compliance to assess AI-generated content and offer insights that enhance AI's understanding of real-world energy processes.

Who Should Apply

• At least 4 years of professional experience in the energy industry
• Roles including Reservoir Engineer, Drilling Engineer, Production Engineer, Petrophysicist, Reserves Analyst, Plant Performance Engineer, Reliability Engineer, Meter Data Analyst, Billing Analyst, Renewable Generation Analyst, Electrician, etc.
• Hands-on experience with workflows such as reservoir simulation, AFE preparation, meter data validation, load forecasting, emissions reporting, predictive maintenance, regulatory rate case filing, or renewable generation forecasting
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
