Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with assigned client contacts.
- Conduct routine site visits to evaluate facility operations and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain energy performance using company tools and reporting systems.
- Analyze trends and recommend practical, cost-saving solutions.
- Partner with facility teams and leadership to implement energy-saving initiatives.
- Document observations, activities, and recommendations accurately.
- Communicate regularly with clients and internal teams to ensure continued success.
- Represent Cenergistic professionally while delivering exceptional client service.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams).
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Energy management experience is welcome but not required.
- Candidates with backgrounds in education, healthcare, facilities management, hospitality, operations, project coordination, customer service, technical support, military leadership, teaching/administration, business consulting/account management are encouraged to apply.

Work Environment & Travel
This is a field-based position supporting clients within an assigned territory. Travel varies based on client assignments and may include schools, universities, healthcare facilities, government buildings, and other commercial facilities. Energy Specialists enjoy the flexibility to manage their schedules while ensuring the needs of their clients and business objectives are met. Although much of the work is performed during regular business hours, this role occasionally requires early morning, evening, or weekend work to observe facility operations, support client initiatives, or accommodate customer schedules. The ability to adjust your schedule to meet client needs is an essential part of this position. Time is divided between client site visits, remote work, virtual meetings, data analysis, report preparation, and administrative responsibilities.
Physical Requirements
- Walk and stand for extended periods during site visits.
- Climb stairs and occasionally use ladders in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Bend, kneel, crouch, stoop, and reach while inspecting building systems.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Operate a computer, tablet, smartphone, and standard office equipment.
- Communicate effectively in person, by phone, and through virtual meeting platforms.
- Travel independently to client locations using reliable transportation.
