This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office, based in NYC, Houston, or Los Angeles.

About the role

Join Marsh's best-in-class Power & Energy team, delivering expert broking and strategy solutions to help clients manage risk with confidence. As a Property Broker, you will develop an understanding of clients' business priorities, risk strategies, and risk management needs to provide knowledgeable advice to complex clients. You will help identify the need for new products and develop innovative solutions, complete policy management activities, and deliver technical expertise in RFP presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage an existing book of Energy clients through daily interaction to address their needs.
  • Solicit new clients and expanded opportunities by developing internal and external relationships.
  • Work with various Energy Property Insurance markets to place Marsh clients with the best available terms and conditions.
  • Populate Property market submissions, negotiate terms and conditions with underwriters, and communicate quotes to clients.
  • Oversee the correct issuance of all transaction documentation, including invoicing, policy review, and pre- and post-binding documentation.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of industry experience.
  • Property lines and broking experience highly preferred; Energy & Power experience is a plus.
  • P&C license is required, or the ability to obtain one.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Pay

The applicable base salary range for this role is $154,200 to $328,400. The base pay offered will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. This position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives.
