Energy Marshall (Electrical LOTO Coordinator)
EPI Power is seeking experienced electrical professionals, including journeyman electricians, to join our team as Energy Marshalls (Electrical LOTO Coordinators) supporting large-scale, mission-critical data center construction projects. No prior Energy Marshall experience is required; candidates with at least 5 years of electrical field experience and the ability to read electrical one-line diagrams are encouraged to apply.
This field-based role serves as the site authority for electrical energy control on large-scale data center construction and commissioning projects. The Energy Marshall (Electrical LOTO Coordinator) is responsible for overseeing and enforcing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), energy isolation, and energization procedures, ensuring full compliance with NFPA 70E, OSHA, NEC, and project-specific Energy Isolation and Energization Plans. This role is critical to maintaining safe work conditions, preventing electrical incidents and arc flash exposures, and driving a strong, proactive safety culture on site.

Responsibilities
- Lead and enforce electrical LOTO and energy isolation procedures
- Review Energy Isolation Plans, Energization Plans, JHAs, and electrical permits
- Audit and monitor electrical energy control during construction and commissioning
- Coordinate safe testing and operation of electrical and MEP systems
- Serve as the single point of authority for electrical energy control
- Train employees on electrical LOTO and energy isolation processes
- Maintain compliance with NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA, and client requirements
- Communicate with project leadership, safety teams, and clients
Requirements
- 5+ years of electrical field experience in commercial, industrial, or similar construction environments (mission-critical/Data Center preferred)
- Ability to read and understand electrical one-line diagrams and construction drawings
- Solid understanding of electrical systems and electrical safety
- Experience with switchgear, UPS systems, generators, battery systems, or similar equipment is preferred, but not required
- Strong communication skills with a safety-first mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
