About the role
The Energy Marshal is a highly skilled individual responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of the project Electrical Safety Plan. This role requires ensuring a safe workspace for all employees by authorizing activities related to both energized and de-energized equipment.
Responsibilities
- Complete NFPA 70E training on Electrical Safety Related Work Practices.
- Assign a competent back-up Deputy Energy Marshal.
- Review the Electrical Energization Safety Program with electrical contractors and commissioning authorities.
- Organize and schedule Pre-Energization meetings five days in advance of energizing or de-energizing critical equipment.
