Energy Manager

About the role

This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Real Estate & Construction environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sustainable operations strategies for client real estate portfolios
• Collaborate with site teams to create multi-year energy reduction plans
• Prioritize energy reduction mechanisms and develop procurement strategies
• Conduct ASHRAE Level I and II energy audits and develop conservation measures
• Identify and manage resource efficiency projects and business cases for energy initiatives
• Track and report on sustainability metrics, compliance reporting, and trend analysis
• Perform annual building benchmarking using Energy Star or similar sources
• Develop utility forecasts and conduct variance analysis for consumption and cost
• Analyze utility rates for cost reduction opportunities and recommend action plans
• Create enhanced decision-making tools for business and project teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, environmental science, energy management, sustainability, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in engineering or analytical role related to building management or energy services
• Ability to perform energy savings calculations using Excel and simulation models
• Demonstrated experience in comprehensive energy management programs
• Experienced in benchmarking and analyzing utility data
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerBI

Pay

$97,750 – $115,000 annually
