About the role
A global leader in cloud infrastructure and mission-critical data center operations is seeking an experienced Energy Isolation Electrical Specialist to support large-scale data center construction and commissioning projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversight and auditing of Energy Isolation (LOTO) programs across construction, commissioning, maintenance, and operations activities.
- Reviewing electrical and MEP scopes, MOPs, and energization procedures to ensure safe work practices and compliance.
- Validating safe working conditions through documentation reviews, permits, job hazard analyses, and field audits.
- Partnering with construction, commissioning, EH&S teams, contractors, and trade partners to drive compliance with Energy Isolation requirements.
- Supporting startup, testing, energization, and commissioning of critical electrical infrastructure within mission-critical data center environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Master Electrician License, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8+ years of experience in commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction environments.
- 5+ years of experience supporting electrical infrastructure, commissioning, field engineering, or critical facilities operations.
- Hands-on experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Energy Isolation, Control of Hazardous Energy (COHE), NFPA 70E, OSHA, and NEC requirements.
- Ability to review electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, MEP documentation, and energization procedures for medium- and high-voltage systems.
Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of electrical safety, Control of Hazardous Energy (COHE), and mission-critical infrastructure within construction and commissioning environments.
Skills
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
- Experience with energy isolation and hazardous energy control.

Pay
$83.14 - $89.54 per hour (1-year contract).
Schedule
