Responsibilities
- Participates as team member of a project development team for the development of energy saving construction projects.
- Performs building surveys and audits to identify energy conservation measures (ECMs) for architectural, mechanical, plumbing, lighting, and electrical systems in commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.
- Analyzes and documents existing building operation.
- Completes utility analysis by quantifying and benchmarking a building’s energy use.
- Reviews and understands utility rate tariffs.
- Quantifies the energy savings for each ECM via a building simulation / energy model or by utilizing spreadsheet calculations.
- Works with local utility companies to secure rebates and incentives for our customers.
- Oversees the measurement and verification of the project’s ECMs.
- Reviews building automation control systems to validate system performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Provides key technical support in pursuit of Trane business, including participation on strategic job acquisition teams.
- Affords assistance and support to all efforts of acquisition and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology discipline.
- Familiarity with the operation of Energy Management Systems, Building Automation (BAS) systems, HVAC Systems and/or Temperature Controls preferred.
- Experience in effectively understanding and manipulating technical information and responding to questions from fellow engineers.
- Experience collecting data, analyzing and presenting data in a clear and accurate manner.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office products and office equipment required.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI in the previous 5 years, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
Qualifications
- Entry level, degreed candidates are encouraged to apply.

Annual Base Salary Range Or Hourly Base Pay Range $91,516.66 - $128,379.99
