Energy Efficiency Auditor

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Congduct outreach and education to targeted customers and schedule energy efficiency assessments.
• Assist management staff to quantify energy savings, financial savings and other customer benefits.
• Effectively sell projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors and subcontractors.
• Work in cross-functional teams including program support as needed.
• Perform lead follow ups, go to sites for customer meetings, evaluate facility, and develop a sales quotation for the project, this requires use of a step ladder.
• Meet or exceed set sales goal per month.
• Engagement in all geographical areas critical to program success.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
• Demonstrate ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders while delivering excellent customer service in a highly dynamic growth environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, evolving, entrepreneurial work environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Must be flexible to visit customers, utilize a ladder and sell on daily basis.
• Able to travel up to customer sites and come into the office as needed.
• Able to obtain an OSHA 30 certification (Training provided).

Benefits

• This position is eligible to obtain commission in addition to an annual salary.

Pay

• The pay range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule

• The position requires up to 50% travel throughout Montgomery, Frederick, and Carroll counties in Maryland.
