Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Congduct outreach and education to targeted customers and schedule energy efficiency assessments.
- Assist management staff to quantify energy savings, financial savings and other customer benefits.
- Effectively sell projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors and subcontractors.
- Work in cross-functional teams including program support as needed.
- Perform lead follow ups, go to sites for customer meetings, evaluate facility, and develop a sales quotation for the project, this requires use of a step ladder.
- Meet or exceed set sales goal per month.
- Engagement in all geographical areas critical to program success.
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
- Demonstrate ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders while delivering excellent customer service in a highly dynamic growth environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, evolving, entrepreneurial work environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Must be flexible to visit customers, utilize a ladder and sell on daily basis.
- Able to travel up to customer sites and come into the office as needed.
- Able to obtain an OSHA 30 certification (Training provided).
Benefits
- This position is eligible to obtain commission in addition to an annual salary.
Pay
- The pay range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 annually.
Schedule
- The position requires up to 50% travel throughout Montgomery, Frederick, and Carroll counties in Maryland.
