About the role

The role brings together research, stakeholder engagement, and campaign strategy to enable impactful environmental conversations and action.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct primary and secondary research on assigned environmental and climate issues.
  • Undertake field visits and community consultations to understand on-ground realities.
  • Map stakeholders, institutions, and power relationships.
  • Support campaign planning, strategy, and execution.
  • Draft campaign materials, including emails, briefs, letters, decks, reports, and public-facing content.
  • Engage with communities, civil society organisations, decision-makers, and other stakeholders.
  • Help organise workshops, public meetings, seminars, and awareness activities.
  • Contribute to alliance-building and coalition work.
  • Support communications work such as newsletters, blogs, articles, and social media content.
  • Track progress and report outcomes clearly to the team.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualities:

  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Good writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex issues into simple, accessible language.
  • Familiarity with stakeholder mapping and campaign planning.
  • Comfort engaging with communities, civil society groups, and decision-makers.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented approach.
  • Interest in environmental justice, public health, and social change.
  • Sensitivity to gender, caste, and other social justice concerns.
