About the role
The role brings together research, stakeholder engagement, and campaign strategy to enable impactful environmental conversations and action.
Responsibilities
- Conduct primary and secondary research on assigned environmental and climate issues.
- Undertake field visits and community consultations to understand on-ground realities.
- Map stakeholders, institutions, and power relationships.
- Support campaign planning, strategy, and execution.
- Draft campaign materials, including emails, briefs, letters, decks, reports, and public-facing content.
- Engage with communities, civil society organisations, decision-makers, and other stakeholders.
- Help organise workshops, public meetings, seminars, and awareness activities.
- Contribute to alliance-building and coalition work.
- Support communications work such as newsletters, blogs, articles, and social media content.
- Track progress and report outcomes clearly to the team.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualities:
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex issues into simple, accessible language.
- Familiarity with stakeholder mapping and campaign planning.
- Comfort engaging with communities, civil society groups, and decision-makers.
- Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented approach.
- Interest in environmental justice, public health, and social change.
- Sensitivity to gender, caste, and other social justice concerns.
