Energy Advisor

Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual to join CLEAResult as an Energy Advisor. As an Energy Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting residential customers through their energy-efficiency projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and ongoing assistance to property owners and contractors to support project conversion and contract compliance (approximately 60%).
• Troubleshoot technical questions and provide guidance on installation requirements, adaptation, configuration, and enhancement in accordance with client specifications (10%).
• Complete rebate processing, data entry, QA/QC support, and documentation review (15%).
• Record customer and contractor interactions accurately to meet program tracking and reporting requirements (10%).
• Occasionally travel within assigned areas for program needs (5%).

Key Skills

• Strong customer service background — call center or high-volume communication experience is highly valuable.
• Ability to explain technical topics clearly and simply.
• Strong communication (phone + email), organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to use CRM systems (Salesforce preferred; Quickbase experience a plus).
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a steady volume of customer interactions.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, phone-based advising environment.

Target Compensation

Target compensation is $19.55 per hour. The actual compensation may vary based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
