About the role
The Energetics MFG Engineer Level 2 will work in an industrial environment supporting complex engineering problems. They will provide expertise and guidance in interpreting governmental regulations, agency guidelines, and internal policies/procedures to assure compliance. They will serve as a liaison between Bacchus Mission Assurance and various organizations including some government agencies.
Responsibilities
- Understand the design intent, failure modes, requirements, and specifications of the product as well as the manufacturing processes, process controls, statistics, SPC, and quality inspections.
- Work directly with operating entities to ensure inspections, statistical process control analyses, and audits are conducted on a continuing basis as specified to enforce requirements, meet specifications, and improve processing.
- Work in a manufacturing environment, including accessing stairs and work platforms.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.
- Emphasis in coursework or prior experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering, Chemical Processes, Engineering Design, Customer Service, Microsoft Office Suite, Chemical processes, Mechanical Design, Manufacturing Engineering, SPC, AS9100/IS9001, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (ANSI/AMSE Y14.5), Systems Engineering and Statistics, Computer Aided Design (NX, Solidworks, ProE, ComSol, other), and Tooling/special equipment.
Qualifications
- STEM Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience – OR – STEM Master’s degree with 0 years of relevant experience.
- Basic Qualifications: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.

Benefits
This position is contingent upon the candidate obtaining final clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period as determined by the company.
Pay
Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00
Schedule
This position works a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.
