Endowed Chair of Management & Marketing

Wilberforce University’s School of Business invites applications for the inaugural William Lee Endowed Professor position. This role will strengthen the school’s growing marketing and management portfolios through leading-edge scholarship and regional partnerships in Ohio’s Miami Valley. The position includes annual research support and a competitive salary.

About the role

• 9½-month appointment with summer research support
• Teaching load of 3 courses per semester
• Associate or Full Professor rank, starting Fall 2024

Responsibilities

• Maintain a stellar research agenda with publications in top-tier entrepreneurship and management journals
• Develop a forward-looking research portfolio that advances management or marketing
• Pursue external grants, foundation funding, or corporate gifts to enhance the marketing and management ecosystem of the William Lee Institute of Business and Finance
• Teach graduate Project Management courses in online mode and undergraduate courses in face-to-face mode
• Act as an ambassador for the University at academic conferences, policy forums, and corporate entrepreneurship events

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Business, Marketing, and/or Management
• Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire; the University does not sponsor employment visas for this position

Pay

$85,000 – $165,000
