Endoscopy Technician: Pool

About the role

Cascade Medical (CM) in Leavenworth, Washington, seeks a pool Endoscopy Technician to join their Endoscopy Department. The technician will prepare and maintain instruments, equipment, and sterile environments for gastroenterology procedures. They will also assist the Endoscopy provider and Endoscopy RN during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain medical facility's instruments, equipment, and sterile environments for gastroenterology procedures.
• Aid the Endoscopy provider and Endoscopy RN during endoscopy procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a recognized training program in endoscopy technology.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, including THC testing.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Proficient in operating endoscopic equipment.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

• The wage range is set on a 30-step scale based on years of experience.
• Offer letters and wage determinations are based on years of experience.

• Days and hours are variable and based on business needs.
