Endoscopy Technician

About the role
As an Endoscopy Technician, you’ll help provide safe, effective procedures for patients undergoing GI and endoscopy procedures. Your work preparing equipment and maintaining a clean, organized environment will support patient safety and empower caregivers to deliver high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare procedure rooms and endoscopy equipment, verify equipment is in proper working order, and keep supplies organized and stocked.
- Help position and transport patients safely and comfortably using proper body mechanics.
- Support physicians and nurses during procedures by handling instruments, collecting specimens, and following proper safety practices.
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopy equipment, and maintain accurate records for quality and safety.
- Communicate with kindness and compassion to patients and families, keeping them informed and supporting their privacy and comfort.
Requirements
- High School Graduate / GED required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Previous Endoscopy Technician experience preferred.
- Must live within 30 minutes of the hospital for on-call response.
Schedule
Full Time Days, 32 hours per week, Monday-Friday with some on-call required.
