About the role

An Endoscopy Technician’s responsibilities include explaining diagnostic tests and procedures to patients, positioning patients and equipment, performing examinations, and maintaining and operating specialized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performing examinations
• Maintaining and operating specialized equipment

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED/TASC
• An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree preferred
• Completion of a Surgical Technology program preferred
• One year of Endoscopy processing work experience preferred
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• BLS/CPR certification
• Bilingualism is a strong plus

Schedule

• All positions are in hospitals open 24 hours/7 days each week
• General shift availability: Days (7a-3p or 8a-4p), Evenings (3p-11p or 4p-12a), Nights (11p-7a or 12a-8a)
• Every other weekend is usually required for all positions
