Endoscopy Technician Advanced Procedures

Summary

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers in Advanced Endoscopy procedures which may include: TIF, POEM, Minor OR procedures, X-tach, ESD, EMR, Esophogeal or Colon Stent Placement, Spyglass and EHL, RFA, Cryo.
• Handles instruments, supplies, and equipment during the procedure.
• Communicates regarding specimen labeling, and routes for appropriate processing.
• Completes Point of Use cleaning for scopes. Routes for and/or completes scopes maintenance, care, disinfection/sterilization.

Requirements

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Licensure/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
• Minimum Experience: 1 year as an endoscopy technician, surgical tech or related.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
• BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Pay

$20.26 - $26.34 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Schedule

Full Time, 64.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks).
