Endoscopy Reprocessing Technician
About the Role
Responsible for the cleaning and disinfection of all lab equipment, including the reprocessing of all endoscopes. Assists with monitoring quality related to scope reprocessing and maintains high-level disinfection equipment and storage of endoscopes. Serves as a resource on the unit for disinfection processes.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect all lab equipment, including endoscopes
- Reprocess endoscopes according to established protocols
- Monitor quality related to scope reprocessing
- Maintain high-level disinfection equipment
- Manage storage of endoscopes
- Serve as a resource for disinfection processes
Requirements
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- High School diploma or equivalent (or higher)
- Knowledge of principles and practice of high-level disinfection and infection control
- Knowledge of high-level disinfection equipment handling and maintenance
- Good communication skills
- CBSPD Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (preferred)
- Endoscopy experience (preferred)

Primary Shift: Day
Monday - Friday, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
On Call: No
Weekends: Rotating
