Endocrinology Physician

About the role

Be your own head of the Endocrinology department within a service area of 600,000 in a 75-mile radius. Over 400 physicians are on staff. Clinic hours are Monday–Friday 8 am–5 pm. This is an outpatient-only role with no inpatient or call responsibilities. Practice at one location with lab and radiology services provided in-house. A dedicated Endocrinology RN will be made available. Opportunity to precept DO medical school students and internal medicine residents.

Level 2 trauma center staffed by EM residency-trained physicians. Medical school students and primary care residents rotate through the facility. Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
• Ability to obtain and maintain a medical license in Alabama
• Able to sponsor visas
• Medical Doctor with or without U.S. residency and with a current U.S. work visa
