Role: Endoscopy Technician responsible for supporting physicians during endoscopic and complex interventional procedures. Key Responsibilities Assist with procedures, ensuring proper functioning of supplies and equipment in the Endoscopy Department.Clean and disinfect equipment according to hospital policies.Provide patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse for ambulatory and endoscopy patients.Perform clerical duties such as maintaining patient charts, records, and ensuring workstation cleanliness.Complete billing charges accurately. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; GI/OR Technology program preferred.Minimum of 4 years of Endoscopy Tech experience required.Current BLS certification from AHA required; GTS and AGTS certifications preferred.
